Singapore Movement to Appreciate Dustbins

When I first saw this dustbin along Shenton Way I paused to take a longer look, and nearly laughed out loud.

Whoever thought of painting dustbins must be quite creative in order to launch this Movement to Appreciate Dustbins. I thought there was a similar movement, but the bins were located along Orchard Road, and not Shenton Way.

Nonetheless this dustbin is cute and very well painted. Yes, it helps to attract attention and thus if I do have any rubbish, I will definitely find it more pleasant to throw them into these nicely painted dustbins.
