Inspirational Moments... moments that inspire...
Sometimes we live for these moments... but rarely often...
Often we are bogged down by the mundane... mundane that fills lives... mundane that wastes lives...
And so I continue to live in the mundane... grasping for that few moments of inspirations...
I'm what people call... a fool... but aren't you?
Muaa haa haa haa...

Bird Shit & Punggol
Was driving around during the CNY period when I realised a few hassles of driving. Firstly the bird shit at car parks. Parked at the carpark opp Cineleisure... and... wow, my entire car full of bird shit by the time I returned... I was so damn pissed. Then a fren of mine told me I better get them off fast or else the acid wld eat into the paint... which means I gotta clean the car of shit at 1plus am.. which of course spoilt my mood. Was washing the car with tissue and a bottle of mineral water... haiz the feeling of touching the bird sh*t.... zzz....zzzz... yucks! Spent a total of 1 hour I think...
Oh well... guess next time I better be careful abt where I park...
Hmm another interesting thing abt driving is that u start to appreciate the design of the matured HDB estates. When u r around AMK or other places, finding your way ard is easy... the road signs and blk numbers are relatively visible. Went visiting my fren at Punggol... and... realised (the hard way) that there are different clusters of flats using the same series of HDB blk numbering along the same punggol road! And it is damn hard to spot the HDB blk numbers cos' they are painted at the height of 2-3rd storey, which of course wld be blocked by trees. Somemore, not all blk numbers are visible from the road... lolz
heh heh heh... but yah...driving ar can be quite fun lah... :)

Evolution: Thoughts from watching Heroes
heh watched a few episodes of heroes and have some thoughts. Heroes is a US TV serial (episode 16 now I think) that contains human who 'evolved' to have super powers and how this group of pple got together to prevent some nuclear disaster. Quite interesting show actually. It also hinges on the theory that evolution takes a leap every now and then...
Evolution. Charles Darwin has his theory of natural selection that seems to form the basis of how different species of creatures come to be. Of course, there are also others that propose Intelligent Design or Creationalism. Makes me wonder who is right exactly... somehow Darwinism makes me feel like a lottery ticket... where I happened to have my 'ticket' drawn at birth, and that sort of decides if my genes wld be passed along in future. My 'ticket' (i.e. genes lah) would determine how intelligent, hardworking, observant...etc etc I am, which in turn determines if I wld be successful in life...pro-create and passed on the 'ticket' to the next generation.
Mix Darwinism with other stuff like say, horoscopes... and voila... fate of all creatures is sealed at time of birth...so strange...
Thought there were another school of thought by a Russian guy (can't remember his name now) that suggests a variant theory... that genes are well, fixed at birth but not permanent... our 'evolution' takes place at the same time as we live and play. So... characteristics that are deemed desirable, could be enhanced as the creatures live their life. That gives back some independent ability of the individual creature to ensure his/her survivability.
Oh well... so the basic message is still 'a lottery ticket at birth' but with some ability to influence the numbers somewhat along the line. Hmm...

Stumbled onto this site a couple of days ago... and saw this site with animation done by by students. Seems like quite a lot of participation from the kids and some of the works are not bad!

A mini update
Had a hectic past month, and so didn't have chance to blog. Spare time spent on setting up an old ECA blog for frens so that we could maintain long distance contacts. Guess recently too many sudden arrows and so no real mood to sit down and blog.
Heh, cooking indeed comes with practice... after a long time without cooking, i tried chicken stew (oni successful dish so far), and it tastes only o.k... not as good as I thought it wld be. Well guess one must cook for a few times per month at the very least.
Recently read in the papers that there are more jobs and better pay out there now (25% pay hike!)... wow, very tempting. If not for those arrows, I wld have spend more time looking around heh heh heh... guess after CNY and see how. Also saw in the papers about some poliical stuff... abt sand. Here's an interesting article
