Games Convention Asia 2007

Was at the Games Convention Asia at Suntec. Quite fun (for me at least)... saw the Audition Online with real people dancing on the stage...cool...

heh heh and saw the demo of Habbo... but I guess I wldn't really join Habbo...got too many online games le.

Also saw the Blizzard stuff... and took a shot with a Human Priest...eh but I thought she dress more like that character at The Burning Crusade featuring blood elf (one holding the libram, left side of WoW's website)? But she said she is human priest leh...

anyway here's a picture i took with her... yesh my face blanco... shy mah... and yesh i a bit plump... zzzz

Game & Music

Heh didn't blog for quite some time cos of heavy work commitments. So some of these wld be not so fresh entries.

Attended the Singapore Arts Fest concert of Play! And it is fantastic! lolz.... rare to see a full orchestra playing our favourite game music.... kekeke especially touching to see Mario Bros' game scene on the big screen while the orchestra plays the all-too-familiar Mario tune... big thanks to my colleague Ja for the tickets... lolz. Took a pic of the blue dragon mascot at the entrance.

That night attended the Granado Espada game launch at zouk... hmm wld have gone in the afternoon but afternoon got concert. The night event is only so so... thought they wld have played more in-game music there... Took a pic of the 'monster' at the door. GE is another good online game...good primarily cos of the music... excellent music actually...

Grow a village!

Heh a fren introduced this website where u grow a small digital village... yah one of those web-based online games. www.travian.com

I'm growing a Gaul village on server 4.... heh heh heh but only got abt 10+ villagers and a granary now... hmm wonder how do I invade other nearby village... and what use is it about invasion anyway. Better start reading the forums... there is this beginner guide that teaches you how to grow the Travian village in the beginning.

Done a seafood stew a few days back... somehow the sotong (squid) is too soft... doesn't taste like squid... hmm but not too bad cos didn't dirty the kitchen....

Missed Maple

hmmm played WoW for abt half a year now... and interestingly I actually missed maple story. WoW is a lot more complex and fun in the sense of the game but well... the pple in maple are warmer i supposed. Guild chat, friends chat...etc etc. WoW guild is like so dungeoun focus... hardly hear them in Guild chat... if there is any chat... it's because they already know each other in real life ... makes other guild members like me felt a bit odd... the Guild is very professional... and large in numbers... but well...

oh... side topic... Yakult plus Bombay Sapphire actually taste not bad! But use the orange flavour Yakult... the grape version not as nice... maybe I shld try the apple one... time to sleep...

hoo hoo hoo new addiction

o.k. I'm an addict.... to coffee and online games... and now a new game! World of Warcraft! I know I wld be an addict so I put it off for quite some time before playing...haiz.... how true.

Die, for sure there would be a lack of sleep for me... now trying to get the cheapest package deal for WoW.

Oh two Sundays back went to Orchard and saw the anime cosplay... here's a photo...looks real like Gin of Bleach right! Gin is the 3rd captain of the 13 captains in Bleach Soul Society. They put in a lot of effort to do these things... very encouraging...

Guild Wars, Martial Heroes...and PC show

heh, for the past 1 week I've been playing two new online games... Guild Wars and Martial Heroes...

Guild Wars has great graphics and game machine, but I can't seems to find any S'pore players. Haiz... then very boring to play just by myself. Lack of interaction.... seems more like a single player games.

Martial Heroes seems o.k. Grpahics not there...but since there are more players in the field when i battled, it's more interactive. In the town too where there are players selling stuff and chatting, more fun that way. Somehow there isn't a nice combi of the two, else I guess I wld play more of the game.

Anyway...yupz playedtoo much game le. Guild Wars has a nice function of a time reminder. When I played more than 3 hours, it wouldsay 'You have played the game for 3 hours. Please take a break.' Haa...funny but useful. I stop when it reached 4 hours. Mua haa haa

Went PC show, bought a MMC card of 512 mb for my mobile. Hmm tried to cut a graphics into the card but somehow failed. Wld try again... The show too crowded le. The booth selling the MMC card was so crowded that I decided to buy from another one, cost $0.50 more but o.k. lah. Prices varied too. One both sold it for $20.40, another $20.90 and yet another $33!! .... all Kingston 512mb MMC de...strange... they nvr compare mkt prices...
o.k. late le...gd nite...

Sinking Mage in Kerning City

Was playing my noob warrior when I saw this mage.
Seems like if u are at the correct spot, 1 map west of Kerning City (with orange mushrooms), and use teleport downwards, you would sink down the floor.

If you teleport one more time, would sink all the way and appear at the top of the map again.

My Pig Pet teased Me.....

hai... pple raised kids and the kids are nice to them
I raised a pet pig and this is how the pig teased me. Anyway recently a bit tired with playing maple le, since it's the same thing again and again... and quite a bit of lag. Guess kids are studying now so they have more time at home to play?

Maple: Fighting in the hidden maps!

Heyo...today sun, mai and me went exploring the hidden maps in vic... in case they clear these maps when patch comes tommorrow.

Hi folks (those who read my postings...),

It's been two weeks since I last post. Well past two weeks were occupied with things (e.g. exams) and also much personal reflection... like is what I'm doing the 'best' for me kind of question...no answers (well do you expect to have one actually?!?!)...

Oh yes, I finally bought a X'mas edition of the maple prepaid card (cost $21 sob)... and set up a stall... manned by Noc ;p child labour yah... then kuey passed some stuff to sell... wonder y she sold her clothes too...so we have a naked kuey ;p maybe she owed loan sharks meso ;p

And I met a new fren today... yappy... a level 74 warrior (guy beside me)!





Oh...Eric disappeared for some time... but tonite he made a guest appearance... haa and sun & I went to meet him ;p

Adventures at the snow field

Well the Ossyria is fun, but after a while I'm bored le... so Wind, me and Sun decides to explore a little... at the fieldwith little yetis, we found this nice little deserted house.

Then remember I took a pic with a penguin some time back? I saw a bigger one? It looks quite sad though...




Not just a big size penguin, but I saw it riding a big yeti too!! Looks like a slaver though... muaa haa haa

Then hor I saw these two gers taking a break, of course I took pics then...






And the three of us explore another big house later... and I saw a floating person... I checked le, her feet really not touching the ground...






Maybe it's bad luck to check if she is really floating...cos subsequently I was killed by another big yeti... the penguin master shld have taken better care of these yetis... ;p

2nd Day at Ossyria

Today I met Hu... and also got pics of Wind & Hu....
First time i met Hu, we were hanging on ropes... haa. It's Sun, Wind, me then Hu.

Ropes hanging from ballon sia, I must be very very light.... now who accuse me of over-eating?! Then we have a fashion show.... Wind on the left, follow by Hu, then Sun then me... in our usual equipment 1st (yes i wearing new stuff)











And viola!! Wind in beach wear, Hu in new clothes and Sun wear a tube top!!



Then hor, after training for a while we are all bored... fighting big kitties also no kick, so we decided to see dark cats!



I sneaked in first with shadow cloaking me... (actually wind went in before me... but no pics)
Then I sneaked out, planned the battle with the rest of the guys...dunno where Sun goes... (Eric joined us)







But Hu died on the way... Wind can't come in, Sun got dc (or comp hang?) and left oni me and Eric to make it to the new place... a yet to activate portal? Dunno wat, but the cat sure is big and black...and cute!

1st Day at Ossyria

We are finally here....!! Oni me and Kuey though cos we lost Sun le... then Kuey also dc...









While searching for Kuey, saw this stray warrior... level 22 also come ah... though got bunny help, but not much le... sent her back to Victoria island.... hmm hopefully she can level there..



Then I finally got a pic of eric!! The guy with golden sword (worth how much ah?), and I also saw angel with wings!!
